More than $41,000 of unauthorized spend, active malicious campaigns, and no documented timeline of how access was obtained. First-line platform support was responding with templates, and the evidence needed for a credit claim was degrading by the day.

My role: led the forensic response, the documentation, and the platform escalation end to end. Team: the client's internal IT secured the surrounding Google Workspace accounts.

The development team understood the target state and could not express it as a plan the sponsor could fund or track. Requirements existed as conversations. There was no work breakdown, no sequence, and no way to report progress that meant anything to the person approving the budget.

My role: scoped and structured the program, and acted as the translation layer between the development team and the VP sponsor. Team: the client's database and platform developers owned technical design and implementation.

What Kodelytics does not do

Creative production: Kodelytics manages ad accounts, not ad creative. No design, copywriting, video, or brand work — bring your own creative team or an agency partner, and Kodelytics will make sure the account structure and tracking underneath it work.
Bookkeeping and tax filing: The finance background comes up often enough to be worth stating: Kodelytics applies it to scoping, forecasting, and budget rigor on engagements. It does not do your books, your T2, or your tax filings.
Staffing and placement: Kodelytics is one person and contracts as one person. It doesn't recruit, place, or resell contractors, and doesn't sub out delivery to a bench you haven't met. If an engagement needs a developer, that's a named individual you're introduced to, scoped separately.
SEO content programs: No content mills, no link building, no monthly blog packages. Technical SEO that touches tracking, site structure, or measurement is in scope; content marketing as a service is not.
Open-ended retainers with undefined scope: Every engagement starts with a written scope and a defined deliverable. Kodelytics doesn’t bill hours against a vague "marketing support" line, and won’t take on a rescue project without a paid scoping review first.

A decade in financial reporting, then technical delivery. The combination is the point.

Khaled Hawari — Kal — spent roughly ten years in accounting and financial reporting before moving into technical delivery: IFRS 15 and 16 revenue and lease reporting, T2 and GST-HST filings, $10M+ property portfolios, and a 30% reduction in the month-end close cycle at Harris Computer Systems.

Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University. PMP in progress. English, French, and Arabic. Based in Kanata, Ottawa; working with clients across Canada and the United States.
